Are there Caribbean island that has an sand beach? The rocky shores of Nova Scotia? The Scandinavian glacial beaches Perhaps a beach with caves in France? These beaches are source of all dreams and they never fail to please. Every dream can be fulfilled by a beach.

The Earth is comprised of two-thirds ocean and is home to 217,490 miles (335,016 Kilometers) of coastline. There are beaches in South Africa, England, Australia, Croatia, and even Antarctica. There's a beach for every person on the planet. There's a beach close to all.

When the word "beach" is mentioned and people are thinking pleasant palm trees, sunny days and fruity drinks, a beach ball, a swimsuit and a long day of relaxation, maybe taking a nap in a hammock in the shade when the afternoon gets hot. There are many types of beaches, including pink or white sand, pebbles, and volcanic ash. They're home to a variety of marine creatures.

The wide variety of options that are available can make the process of planning your beach vacation difficult. It's a good option to decide the distance you'd prefer to travel, the type of beach you like, and how long you will be there. A three-day weekend at an island with a tropical climate like Baby Beach on Aruba requires an easy plan. There isn't much to take with you and you won't need to make many trips. Surfer's Paradise Beach is in Queensland, Australia. This week will most likely be a trip to see the sights and an entirely different experience for vacationers.

There are beaches on every continent and there are numerous types of beaches. There are many freshwater lakes with beautiful beaches. Think of the beach nearest you and consider "beaching" close to home as one style of vacation.

It's easy to imagine beaches as places of sun and rest, a lazy opportunity to get a sunburn and forget the weather or worries of work. There are dangers to beaches and a savvy beach lover will do their research. The Indian Ocean waters lap the gorgeous beaches of Durban (South Africa) Sharks are fond of those waters. Tide and undertow are other important factors. Cape Blomidon Beach, which is a crescent of sand with red cliffs of "The Blomidon" situated in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley, is where people have lost their lives. Safety at the beach will make for a more enjoyable vacation.
